Smartphone maker Vivo launched their X90 series in India on Wednesday, April26. The X90 series consists of the Pro and Pro Plus variants. These smartphones are equipped with a ZEISS one-inch main camera and stylish design. The Pro Plus version is available with a 12GB + 256GB variant which costs Rs. 84,999, while the X90 has 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB versions which cost Rs. 59,999 and Rs. 63,999 respectively. These smartphones will be up for sale online and offline from May 5.
Vivo X90 Pro comes with a Legendary Black color option, and the X90 model is available in Breeze Blue and Asteroid Black colors. As per Vivo’s Head of Product Management, Vikas Tagra, “The new X90 series provides premium and optimal mobile imaging experience for our users, taking their photography and videography experience to a whole new level with its extreme low-light photography capability.”
These smartphones come with the latest genration of vivo-ZEISS co-engineered imaging systems and Dual Flagship chipset, India’s first MediaTek Dimensity 9200, is also included along with a Pro Imaging Chip V2.A. Vivo X90 and X90 Pro include a 6.78 inches Ultra Vision Eye Protection display. X90 Pro is outfitted with a 50MP Portrait lens with IMX758 OIS sensor. X90 presents a 50MP VCS True Color main camera with IMX866 sensor, 12MP Portrait camera, and 12MP ultra-wide camera.
The X90 and X90 Pro also come with a large battery and 50W Wireless FlashCharge. X90 is powered by 4810 mAh while X90 Pro has 4870 mAh battery. About the companies involved in the launch, Vivo is a Chinese technology company that focuses on smartphones and smart devices and Mobile graphics processors manufacture, MediaTek Inc is from Taiwan. Finbarr Moynihan, Vice President of Corporate Marketing, MediaTek said that their flagship chipset MediaTek Dimensity 9200 paired with Pro Imaging Chip V2.A will provide an unparalleled user experience, extreme low light photography and videography along with immersive all day gaming experiences.
