Accredify Secures $7 Million to Authenticate Documents

Accredify, the Singapore-based company, receives $7 million to ensure the security and authenticity of documents. Founded in 2019 by Zheng Wei, the company works with educational institutions, corporate registries and healthcare to prevent fraudulent documents. With the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, it enabled an automated verification system for various institutions. It has a business profile traceable to blockchain, with 12 million verifications and 600 users. This Series A funding was from iGlobe and SIG Venture Capital, setting Accredify apart from other competitors in terms of scalability.
