Shipsy Records Experiences 100% Growth, Opens Regional Headquarters in Middle East to Attract Talent

Shipsy, a leading SaaS-based, global smart logistics management platform provider recently announced that it had grown its top line around 100 percent. It has also established another regional headquarter in Riyadh to onboard top regional talent. This is the second regional headquarters in Middle East, after the first one in Dubai was established in 2021. Shipsy has also witnessed a 70 percent increase in its talent pool in the last 15 months.

In the month of March this year, the company entered in to an MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) with Monsha’at (the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority) of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to further boost its growth as per Saudi Vision 2030. The Gulf region has contributed 35 per cent of Shipsy’s total revenue. The leading logistics SaaS provider had already taken an initiative to offer its technology at a significant concession for all customers channeled through Monsha’at and also committed an investment of around $10 million over next 5 years for innovation, research, and development in the region.

Shipsy is one of the most capital efficient startups at present, with almost negligible burn rate and actively reaching towards profitability. In 2021-2022, it has added team members in multiple geographies globally and sent offers to around 20 per cent of its headcount in the last three months. The company has also increased its local presence in Middle East and customer support by recruiting top local talent in the region. Furthermore, it is also hiring talents in India and other global locations.
