SBI Life Insurance and Rajasthan Royals Franchise Showcase Epic ‘Helmet’ Sculpture at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur

SBI Life Insurance and Rajasthan Royals franchise have unveiled an eye catching and extremely large helmet installation at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. The immense installation stands 15 feet in height and 18 feet in width, offering an exciting view for the incoming cricket fans and the citizens of the city. The installation symbolises the importance of protection and serves as a reminder to the public to always put safety first by wearing a helmet when engaging in activities like riding.

Ravindra Sharma, Chief of Brand, Corporate Communication & CSR of SBI Life Insurance, and Jake Lush McCrum, Chief Executive Officer of Rajasthan Royals, inaugurated the event with the presence of other dignitaries such as Separamadu Lasith Malinga, Fast Bowling Coach, Siddharth Lahiri, Assistant Coach & Head of Academy, and Dishant Yagnik, Fielding Coach.

SBI Life has sponsored the Rajasthan Royals franchise in order to spread awareness about life insurance as a protection option and its role in enabling people to follow their dreams. This helmet installation is also a part of a public awareness campaign to reiterate how life protection can act as an enabler for individuals.

Ravindra Sharma expressed the need for brands to keep up with the pace of the consumer life and find creative ways to engage people with meaningful conversations about insurance and protection. He also mentioned that the helmet has been strategically placed in the stadium entrance to initiate such conversations with the hundreds of cricket fans attending the matches.

Jame Lush McCrum mentioned that initiatives like these are part of the larger cause to activate their partnerships and engage their supporters as well as the community.

The installation of this enormous helmet also carries a message of urgency due to its relevance in the State’s area. According to State Transport Department records, nearly 4000 people have lost their lives annually in accidents due to not wearing helmets. The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways recently reported that nationwide, the number of people who died in accidents due to not wearing helmets is 46,563 during 2021.
