OpenAI’s Chief Executive Officer, Sam Altman, is in Nigeria engaging with some tech-savvy individuals; likely to spark an interest in the arising Artificial Intelligence(AI).
Pictures have been shared on social media showcasing Mr. Altman’s interactions with various stakeholders of the tech community in Lagos. Moreover, he spoke to numerous students at MUSON Center about the future of Artificial Intelligence.
Between May and June, Mr. Altman has planned 17 visits to locations worldwide. He deems Lagos the only African city to fulfill this mission, along with other cities such as Toronto, New Delhi, Tel Aviv, Madrid, Brussels, and Singapore.
People willing to meet him are asked to fill out a form for basic details; name, email address, and reason for meeting.
A revolutionary of AI, Mr. Altman is at the forefront of the AI revolution. As such, he also prompted those having the capacity of arranging meetings with groups of 500 people or more to specify this on the form.
