Preparing for the Future of Technology: B.Tech with Honors Program at SIT Nagpur

Symbiosis Institute of Technology (SIT), Nagpur is a part of the renowned Symbiosis International (Deemed University) (SIU) and is renowned engineering institute located in Central India. SIT Nagpur is now inviting students for BTech course with an additional honors program to prepare them for the upcoming industry of technology. Students have the opportunity to apply for the course via SITEEE before the due date of 12th April 2023. Dr Mukesh M Raghuwanshi (PhD in Computer Sc from VNIT, Nagpur and MTech in Computer Sc from IIT, Kharagpur), the Director and Professor of Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Nagpur, stated “With the growing demand for skilled professionals in these fields, the college aims to equip students with the latest technologies and tools to become future-ready. We believe that this program will help our students to be better prepared for the jobs of tomorrow.”

The Honors program is divided into several courses such as AI and Machine Learning, Data Science, Computing, Game Development and Design, Security and Privacy, and Internet of Things. AI and Machine Learning focuses on the techniques, algorithms, and models of AI and ML, Data Science is about deriving insights from data, Computing is about Programming languages, algorithms, computer architecture, data structures, software engineering, and database systems, Security and Privacy is about network security, access control, authentication, encryption, and privacy-enhancing technology, and finally Internet of Things course focuses on design and development of systems such as sensors, actuators, wireless networks, and embedded systems.

The curriculum of the BTech program aims to give students valuable and competitive skills that the industry is demanding. Graduates of this program will be highly sought after in numerous fields such as marketing, finance, healthcare, game design and development, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and more. In addition, the college also offers students the opportunity to work on real-life projects and internships to gain practical experience.
