However, an OpenAI spokesperson said that the company did not receive a meeting request from Prime Minister Netanyahu. Altman, who is Jewish, is in Israel to meet with President Isaac Herzog, visit Microsoft’s local offices, and attend an event at Tel Aviv University. The reports come amid ongoing controversy over proposed reforms to the Israeli judiciary.
