OpenAI, an artificial intelligence research lab, recently announced new privacy options for its chatbot, ChatGPT. Users of ChatGPT now have the ability to turn off chat history, allowing them to choose which conversations are used to train the conversational AI models. When this is toggled off, these conversations will no longer be included in the user’s conversation history sidebar. OpenAI has also planned for a ChatGPT Business subscription in the near future for those who require a greater degree of control over the data management. In addition, the company has added a ‘Export’ option within the settings that allow the user to download their ChatGPT data with an email containing their full conversation history and other related information.
