Motorola is all set to unveil its latest flagship smartphone, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro, in India on April 3 via Flipkart. The company has teased some of the key specifications of the device ahead of the official launch. However, renowned tipster Paras Guglani has now leaked the pricing details and storage variant options for the upcoming smartphone on X.
According to the tipster, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro is expected to come in a single configuration featuring 12GB of RAM paired with 512GB of internal storage. The anticipated price for this variant is Rs 44,999, but with introductory offers, consumers could potentially snag the device for less than Rs 40,000. Additionally, the tipster revealed that the smartphone would be offered in three stylish color options – Lavender Purple, Pearl White, and Black Eclipse.
In terms of specifications, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro is rumored to sport a 6.7-inch 1.5K pOLED display with a high 144Hz refresh rate, 2,000nits peak brightness, and full DCI-P3 Color Gamut coverage. The smartphone will feature a distinctive Silicone Vegan Leather finish along with a durable metal frame. Powering the device will be the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, running on the custom Hello UI based on Android 14, with a promise of three OS updates.
The handset will boast an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance and offer fast charging capabilities with 125W wired and 50W wireless charging support. On the camera front, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro is said to come equipped with a versatile setup, including a 50MP primary sensor, a 13MP ultrawide lens doubling as a macro camera, and a telephoto OIS camera with 30X Hybrid Zoom and AI features. Security-wise, the device will feature an in-display fingerprint sensor for convenient unlocking.
