Microsoft Transforms AI with Free GPT-4 Access on Bing

Date:

Microsoft has made a major move in the world of artificial intelligence (AI): free access to its GPT-4 model on Bing and Edge. Up until now, users needed to sign up for a limited preview to gain access to the GPT-4 model, however, with this announcement, a user only requires a Microsoft account. Further, some exciting features are being added, such as multimodal outputs, chat history, and third-party plug-ins, which will all give Bing an advantage over OpenAI’s ChatGPT Plus subscription service.

The cryptocurrency industry in 2023 has shown a surge of interest in chatbot technology, particularly for its use in autonomous trading bots running on GPT-4. It does however leave some confusion over Microsoft and OpenAI’s plans to balance their offerings. It appears that ChatGPT Plus subscribers receive certain benefits that Bing users and the general public are not privy to, such as priority access and quicker response times.

Microsoft is a technology company founded by Bill Gates and Paul Allen in 1975. It is one of the world’s largest software companies and offers a wide range of services and products, from personal computer hardware to cloud computing services. Microsoft offers its products and services to many different industries, including retail, entertainment, healthcare, banking, and more.

OpenAI is a research laboratory focused on developing artificially intelligent technologies, designed to make human lives easier. Founded in 2015 by Elon Musk and Sam Altman, OpenAI aims to advance artificial intelligence by enabling machines to collaborate with people. OpenAI has made a name for itself by making its GPT-4 technology available as a paid subscription service and leading in the development of AI-driven technology.
