Microsoft Enhances ChatGPT with Bing’s AI-Powered Search

At Microsoft Build 2023, the tech giant announced a fresh collaboration with OpenAI to bring users an enhanced and even speedier AI chatbot experience by bridging Microsoft’s Bing search technology with ChatGPT. This partnership will let ChatGPT leverage Bing’s massive index of up-to-date information to provide faster and more accurate answers. Plus, with Bing’s help, ChatGPT is now be able to cite sources to assist users in getting additional information about any queries being asked.

Microsoft’s consumer chief Yusuf Mehdi expressed his excitement with the collaboration, saying “ChatGPT will now have a world-class search engine built-in to provide timelier and more up-to-date answers with access from the web.” This new feature won’t just be limited to those who subscribe to ChatGPT Plus for a nominal fee, but it will also be available to all users for free by enabling a special plugin.
