Chinese smartphone manufacturer Infinix is integrating ChatGPT into its new digital voice assistant, named Folax. The move has the potential to change the digital assistant landscape, according to famous Twitter leaker Ice Universe. Although some suggest that using an existing model is not entirely ground-breaking, it frees crucial time and resources to invest in other areas, ultimately resulting in lower costs while providing a better experience for users. Infinix aims to debut its new ChatGPT-enabled assistant with the launch of the Infinix Note 30 series in India on 14 June. The device comes with a 108 MP camera, an FHD+ 120Hz display, fast charging of its 5,000 mAh battery, and JBL sound. Forerunner OpenAI’s ChatGPT app is already live, but embedding ChatGPT into a phone is a groundbreaking move that is expected to challenge the market leader Siri.
