HP Launches Pavilion Plus Notebooks and HP 14 and HP 15 Laptops to Suit India’s Growing Hybrid Workplace Culture

HP Inc, a PC and printer company, on Tuesday launched its new PC portfolio that primarily caters to the rising hybrid workplace culture in the country. It introduced its latest Pavilion Plus notebooks to satisfy the demands of consumers in terms of performance, design, and security.

The new HP portfolio consists of HP 14 and HP 15 laptops, which have been integrated with 13th Gen Intel Core processors, offering a hassle-free experience to the users. The HP 14 can be availed at a starting price of Rs. 39,999, the HP Pavilion X360 commences from Rs. 57,999 and the HP Pavilion Plus 14 is obtainable at a starting price of Rs. 81,999.

Vickram Bedi, Senior Director (Personal Systems) HP India, told IA that “we have seen strong demand for PCs in smaller towns and we hope to witness this trend grow deeper into India’s hinterlands, where there are vast growth opportunities.” In order to aid this cause, HP is expanding its network to serve even those in smaller towns and rural areas.

The company has more than 750 unique HP World Stores and a post-sales service network across 1,200 cities in the country. Furthermore, according to the latest GfK data, HP has been the market leader in the consumer PC market in 2022, with a share of more than 40%.

HP has looked to combine premium features with their latest laptops, such as OLED display with 400 nits brightness, multi-touch, 13th Gen Intel Core processors and DDR5, 5MP ‘HP True Vision’ camera with ‘Temporal Noise Reduction’ and AI noise reduction, and more. The EyeSafe certified laptop also includes WiFi 6 and full-function USB-C ports.

In addition to the Hybrid lifestyle features, HP is also working towards providing privacy and security with their laptops. Moreover, in the first two months of 2021, HP has improved its market share to 43% in February in the consumer PC business.
