ChatGPT’s Impressive Gains Over Instagram Found Praiseworthy by Infosys Co-Founder Gopalakrishnan at GIM Convocation

At the Goa Institute of Management’s (GIM) annual convocation ceremony 480 students were awarded their post-graduate diplomas in management. Accamous IT Co-founder, Kris Gopalakrishnan delivered the keynote speech where he discussed the rise of the AI chatbot ChatGPT and the technological disruption that it will bring in our lives. He also mentioned that this disruption could be the key for India to rapidly increase its Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and become the second largest economy in the world.

Furthermore, fifteen medals were distributed among student achievers who excelled at academics as well as extracurricular activities. Additionally, the director of GIM, Dr. Ajit Parulekar, presented the institute’s report for the last academic year including the milestone of accreditation by the Association of MBAs (AMBA) from the UK, which was gained by GIM in joining the exclusive club of just 296 accredited institutions worldwide.

Infosys Co-Founder, Kris Gopalakrishnan, has also testified to the massive potential of ChatGPT as a software due to its incredibly fast growth rate. It took Instagram two and a half years to reach one hundred million users, while ChatGPT achieved the same feat within mere two months of launching. Gopalakrishnan believes that the app has completely democratized access to artificial intelligence and machine learning models and also its capabilities including reading x-rays, writing essays, summarizing documents, composing poems and testing code. Additionally, he predicted that the technology will bring much wealth to India and propel it to a ten trillion dollar economy.
