CEO of Stability Expresses Sadness Over Exaggerated Resume Report.

Date:

Emad Mostaque, the founder and CEO of unicorn startup Stability AI, has responded to a recent Forbes investigation revealing that he exaggerated his resume and misrepresented his partnerships and achievements. Mostaque claims that many of the allegations are highly inaccurate and has issued factual corrections that were ignored by Forbes. He also believes that his straightforwardness may be misinterpreted and seen as hype or exaggeration. Stability AI gained prominence with its open-source AI text-to-image generator, Stable Diffusion, which attracted the attention of singer-songwriter Peter Gabriel, who partnered with the firm to launch a global AI animation challenge called Diffuse Together. Despite the controversy, Mostaque is determined to continue building and doing good things and is helping Gabriel with his new concert tour and other AI-related projects.
