Amazon Web Services (AWS) has launched the AWS Generative AI Innovation Center, which will be backed by a $100m investment and directed by Sri Elaprolu, head of the innovation center. The project’s aim is to connect AWS-affiliated data scientists, engineers, architects and strategists with customers to accelerate enterprise innovation and success with generative AI, according to an Amazon press release. Participants will have access to AWS services including Bedrock, the code-generating service CodeWhisperer, and training and workshops, and the program will prioritise involvement from organisations in the telecommunications, energy, healthcare, media, manufacturing and automotive sectors.
