Amazfit, the smartwatch brand, has released two new wearables called the Cheetah and Cheetah Pro. Designed specifically for runners, the watches come equipped with Zepp Coach, an AI technology that generates individualized workout routines. Plans take into account the user’s goals and personal characteristics and adjust over time to help train for a race. The Zepp mobile app, which is synced with the watches, also features an AI Chat tool to answer fitness-related questions, which will become a subscription-based service. The watches feature a heart rate tracker, MaxTrack GPS technology, and a battery life of up to two weeks. The Cheetah Pro has a larger, higher-quality screen and additional features such as offline music playback and Bluetooth calling. The watches are available for purchase from the company’s website at $229.99/£229.90 and are expected to be in competition with Garmin.
