Opera, one of the most popular web browsers, has just launched an artificial intelligence (AI) side panel to match those found in Microsoft Edge and other major browsers. Dubbed Aria, this AI-powered virtual assistant offers users a whole new level of convenience. When you open the sidebar on the left side of the browser, the Aria icon appears ready to assist you.
Clicking on the AI icon gives you access to a panel filled with interactive tools that can help you quickly find relevant information. It’s capable of giving you up to date information from diverse sources, and it even knows lots about the Opera browser itself – it can provide support documentation whenever you need it.
This isn’t the first AI-based feature to be introduced in the Opera browser. In February this year, ChatGPT was included in the sidebar, allowing users to quickly generate summaries from webpages and articles. Similarly, AI prompters were also added to help you quickly access AI tools for functions such as summarizing text or creating a tweet from selected content.
Opera is serious about giving users the best web experience possible, and as such, their artificial intelligence software is rigorously developed and upgraded to provide users with an abundance of innovative features. The AI-powered assistant Aria will make navigating the web and finding relevant information easier than ever before.
