Expressions Launches Xpress English: Learn English with Native Language Support, Online and Offline

Expressions, a start-up from India has recently launched ‘Xpress English’, a course specially designed for learners with a weak grasp on their English language. This tailored program will allow impaired students to develop the skills to converse in English in a short period of time. It is based on the credence of transcoding and brain code transfer so that making the learning process more efficient. According to the age, background, and educational profile of the student, the course is divided into 3 levels of assessments and 3 distinct types of courses.

Inderjeet Maitra, Co-founder and Managing Director of Expressions, said his primary goal is to help vernacular students learn communicative English and make the language more accessible and relatable. Over 30 employees and 50 trained teachers, coaches, and experts have been recruited by Expressions to ensure the students get the best out of their tailored courses.

The Expressions team has designed a platform which offers both a physical and online classroom experience. Students are provided with ‘studio-quality’ videos and interactive digital worksheets available on their ‘Xpress English’ mobile app. Additionally, Expressions offers career guidance, placement training, workbook exercises, assessments, and daily free live classes. Within a short span of launch, Expressions had conducted over 500 webinars for 25,000 students, 250+ paid batches with 5,000 students, 150K+ mobile app downloads with 35K active users, and 1000+ free lives classes with 20K participants.

Expressions also makes their students more employable by providing a ‘Xpress Job Hub Course.’ This course helps students prepare themselves to take up entry-level jobs in their local areas. Soft and job skills, CV and interview preparation, and connecting the student with potential employers are taught in this course. Bajaj Finserv and Cummins Inc. are just some companies which had conducted certification and program for Banking, Finance, and Insurance and making ITI students employable with Expressions.

A special online program for women was also conducted to enhance English Communication and Business Skills, teaching them how to use social and digital media for their business. Studies have shown that in India, only 10.67% of the population speaks English, with merely 3% coming from the Hindi-speaking states. English is a widely spoken language in India and all over the world, thus making it an indispensable part of a successful future career. Expressions’ main objective, of helping vernacular students become fluent in the language, seems to be a step towards a better future for them.
