Unleashing GPT-4 from Open AI on Medical Records

Date:

Microsoft and Epic Systems, two leading technology companies, have announced a strategic partnership that will leverage Open AI’s GPT-4 machine learning algorithm to parse healthcare records and generate automated responses for healthcare professionals. This move was made to reduce the burden on healthcare personnel and to make data retrieval more efficient.

The Chief Information Officer of UW Health in Wisconsin, Chero Goswami says that this new integration of GPT-4 will help increase productivity for medical professionals. Eric Boyd from Microsoft, who is responsible for the AI platform of the company, has also stated that this collaboration with Epic Systems is a “comprehensive approach” to helping healthcare systems determine effective solutions and deliver beneficial healthcare outcomes.
