Countering ChatGPT with Google Bard: A Solution to Programming and Software Development

Date:

Google recently launched an update of its AI chatbot called Bard, offering more comprehensive features to help people with programming and software development tasks. The tool is available in over 20 programming languages such as C++, Go, Java, JavaScript, Python and TypeScript. With its code generation and debugging capabilities, it can generate code easily with the help of Python and Google Colab and can explain programming tasks to those who are just getting started with coding. There are potential bugs with the code generated by Bard and it is advised to double-check the accuracy and quality of the code.

This feature by Google comes to compete with OpenAI’s ChatGPT 4 which has been helping people with coding and software development. Brought together by Google’s CEO Sundar Pichai, the Alphabet and Google created Google DeepMind, which aims to build more capable AI systems which can be used safely and responsibly.

Apart from coding, Bard is also helping people with everyday tasks like search for recipe ideas and plan for workouts, presentations and lesson plans. This chatbot by Google is meant to enhance user experience, providing value-added services to all the users.

Microsoft-owned OpenAI is the leader in AI technologies and ChatGPT 4 has been a great success, with examples like an entrepreneur who created a Chrome extension and sold it in just one week without knowing how to code.

Under the guidance and leadership of Sundar Pichai, Alphabet and Google bring you Google Bard, launching features to make programming and software development easier, faster and better.
