India gears up for the next generation of telecom technology with plans to host a Hackathon in September that will focus on 5G/6G and Emerging Technologies. The country is taking a lead in exploring the frontiers of next-generation telecom services by bringing together innovators, industry leaders, and academics for this initiative.
The prestigious WTSA2024 event, scheduled to be held in New Delhi from 15th – 24th Oct 2024, is a significant step towards the advancement of 5G and 6G networks. This event will play a crucial role in setting global telecommunication standards and further enhance India’s position in the global technology landscape.
In line with these efforts, the Indian Mobile Congress (IMC 2024) will also take place from October 15 to 19, 2024, with a focus on Artificial Intelligence, Quantum technology, Circular Economy, and other cutting-edge topics related to the telecom sector.
To complement the WTSA2024 and IMC 2024, a Hackathon will be organized to provide developers with a platform to showcase their innovative solutions. The event, set to be held in Delhi, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru, will bring together participants from various sectors to collaborate and develop pioneering ideas in the field of telecommunications.
The Telecom Center of Excellence (TCoE) has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) to solicit applications for organizing the 5G/6G Hackathon and WTSA Awareness Sessions, further emphasizing India’s commitment to advancing telecom technologies.
