These chatbots, with names like Korean Girlfriend and Virtual Sweetheart, prompt users with questions about their dream girl and darkest secrets.
This trend is worrisome as it goes against OpenAI’s usage policy, which prohibits the creation of GPTs that can lead to certain actions. OpenAI is aware of the AI girlfriend issue and plans to take action, although the specifics of their plans have not been revealed yet.
