LimeChat Collaborates with Microsoft to Revolutionize Ecommerce Customer Support, India

Bengaluru-based startup LimeChat has partnered with tech giant Microsoft to revolutionize ecommerce customer support with its advanced chatbot. The collaboration aims to enhance, secure, and personalize the customer service experience using artificial intelligence (AI) technology.

LimeChat’s new chatbot, developed in collaboration with Microsoft, boasts high accuracy with an error rate of under 0.1%. The company claims that this technology will enable improved efficiency and provide a secure and personalized customer support experience. Leveraging Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service, LimeChat has introduced an enhanced chat automation system specifically designed for ecommerce. The chatbot employs dynamic learning mechanisms to refine its engagement with customers with every interaction.

The startup, founded in 2020, has already raised $5 million in funding from notable investors, including Stellaris Venture Partners, pi Ventures, and Titan Capital. It has also gained support from angel investors, including Kalyan Krishnamurthy, CEO of Flipkart, Sujeet Kumar, co-founder of Udaan, Ramakant Sharma, co-founder of Livspace, and Dilip Khandelwal, MD of Deutsche Bank.

LimeChat integrates with popular platforms like WhatsApp and Shopify to enable seamless commerce for its clients. The startup has collaborated with more than 300 brands, including HUL, ITC, Mamaearth, Wow Skin Science, Neemans Shoes, and Snitch. With a revenue of $2.8 million, as reported by the LATKA SaaS Database, LimeChat has shown promising growth in the market.

Nikhil Gupta, the founder of LimeChat, expressed how partnering with Microsoft elevates the standards of customer support. By leveraging Microsoft Azure’s retrieval algorithms, embedding models, and LLMs (large language models), LimeChat aims to transform customer interactions significantly.
