Exploring the Potential of Stopping Human Aging: Uncovering the Biological Process Behind Ageing

Date:

A new study has found that while aging can potentially be stopped, full reversal is not a possibility. An AI-driven research conducted by the preprint server BioRxiv, a team of scientists analyzed the thermal biological age (tBA). tBA is a key component of ageing and tracks the amount of disorder and age-related degradation that occurs in the body.

The research showed that the loss of resilience and the increase of mortality rate doubles in human beings every eight years; this exponential acceleration is irreversible. As a result, full reverse ageing could not be possible, although there are other measures that can be taken to slow down the process. The study suggests that an organism can potentially be “cooled down” in order to reduce the rate of ageing by controlling the chaos in the molecular interactions of its cells.

One such company that is committed to aiding individuals in the fight against aging is Gero. The company, founded by Peter Fedichev, Chief of Gero, is helping to advance our understanding of ageing, providing personalised treatments and optimising physical and mental capabilities using artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Apart from dietary changes, Gero’s team of scientists states that there are many lifestyle changes one can incorporate to slow down the aging process. Exercise, healthy sleep habits, stress reduction, and relationship building are just some of the recommended steps to maintain better physical and mental resilience.

Aging is a complex process that leads to a gradual erosion of physical and mental capabilities. There is no sure way to run away from aging, but it’s possible to take a few precautions to prolong the inevitable. Through the relentless efforts of companies like Gero, and a better understanding of the global aging process, advancements in the slowing down of aging can be made.
