Instagram Developing a Chatbot with 30 Unique Personalities

Instagram is reportedly developing an AI chatbot that could help users write messages, offer advice, and answer questions. Mobile developer, Alessandro Paluzzi, who often reverse-engineers Instagram’s code to predict upcoming features on the platform, has shared that users will be able to choose between 30 AI personalities to assist them. The chatbot is expected to offer creativity solutions to help users to express themselves. Instagram has yet to confirm the development of the chatbot. However, Paluzzi’s comments suggest that the social media platform is working on new artificial intelligence features to help users optimise filters and ads. Meta, Instagram’s parent company, has said it plans to experiment with AI on Messenger, WhatsApp, and Instagram. Last February, Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg, announced that the company’s long-term goal was to create AI personas that can help people in a variety of ways.
