H2O.ai, the AI cloud leader, is partnering up with Nippon Life Insurance Company to revolutionize the health insurance industry. Announced this week, Nippon Life Insurance Company will deploy H2O Driverless AI tools to provide better service and care to their policyholders, strengthen the financial security of corporate health insurance unions, and promote health awareness and prevention. The insurance company will leverage the machine learning power of H2O.ai to create in-house data science teams, which will be instrumental in improving customer experiences.

Sri Ambati, H2O.ai’s CEO and founder, highlighted the groundbreaking impacts AI brings to the trillion dollar healthcare insurance sector, both the businesses and the care they facilitate. Tetsuya Ueda, Executive Officer of IT Planning Department at Nippon Life Insurance, shared his enthusiasm for the partnership. He said, H2O.ai will significantly contribute to the development of innovative AI models that promote social responsibility, as well as help improve risk mitigation and preparedness of healthcare services.

After a remarkable year of strategic partnerships, this news follows a trail of success. Partnerships with AT&T to launch AI feature store and the Center for Digital Health Innovation at the University of California San Francisco are making great strides in advancing the AI landscape. After partnering with H2O.ai, Nissay in Japan is joining the push for this technological revolution.
