Zoom Video Communications, Inc. have made an announcement of their new AI-powered companion that is going to unleash potential from within teams; Zoom IQ. It would help in summarizing chat threads, organizing ideas, drafting content for chats, emails and whiteboard sessions, creating meeting agendas and additional tasks. By doing so, it will not only make sure workday priorities are well balanced between emails, team chats and meetings but proactively recommend actions for the betterment of co-creation in real time.
This companion is going to empower users with its unique federated approach to AI that is based on flexibility. This means a mixture of proprietary AI models by Zoom, AI models from leading companies like OpenAI and customer-specific models that are customizable to the needs of users. This is mainly because of the variations in the required vocabularies and requirements from customer to customer.
There are a bunch of new features in Zoom IQ that are to release soon. Those include Zoom IQ chat compose, Zoom IQ email compose, Zoom IQ meeting summary and many more. With the chat compose feature, users will be given suggested responses based on the conversation contexts and a tone control option will be provided. AI-generated email drafts based on conversational context from meetings or calls will also be incorporated in Zoom IQ for Sales. Furthermore, it will generate summaries of meetings and share it to team chats and emails without the need of a saved recording.
Currently, Zoom is also showcasing new capabilities meant to enhance customer relationships and team work quality at Enterprise Connect. These include Zoom Huddles (formerly Zoom Spots) which is a virtual co-working space providing uninterrupted video talks, Intelligent Director that chooses the best angle when using multi cameras in a Zoom Room and Zoom Scheduler to schedule meetings by sharing availability for easy booking.
