Youth Must Take Charge: India Can Be a Leader in Tech, AI, and Startups – Om Birla

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla on Wednesday spoke at the convocation ceremony of the Malviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT) and encouraged the youth to take the lead in the era of technological innovation and growth, urging them to make India a leader in areas such as technological advancement, artificial intelligence and startups. Birla said that the youth in the country will decide its future and asked them to seize the immense potential available in the ‘New India’.

It’s up to the youth to utilise this potential through hard work, determination and innovation for both personal growth and for the development of the nation, he said. Birla opined that the expectations from the youth of the nation are high and the youth have the capacity and energy to meet these expectations. He advised the students to stay true to their culture and tradition and make it their mission to fulfil Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of making India a developed country by 2047.

Birla called upon the students to dream big and work hard to inspire future generations by showcasing their talent and hard work. He also noted the importance of respecting the culture and traditions of the country.
