Smart home company Wyze has introduced the Cam Floodlight Pro, which is a security camera equipped with built-in lighting and object sensing that replaces the original Wyze Cam Floodlight. The wired camera boasts of a 1440p (2.5K) camera resolution, which is an upgrade from its predecessor’s 1080p, and a 180-degree field of view, to reduce blind spots. With Wyze’s AI computer vision, the camera can accurately detect movement, recognize pre-selected objects and avoid sending unnecessary alerts to users’ phones, such as warnings from the camera being triggered by blowing branches. Additionally, the camera can trigger lights and notifications only when people or vehicles are detected. The camera comes with color and infrared night vision for low-light and dark conditions, accordingly.
