Workato Partners with OpenAI to Simplify Business Automation

Workato has collaborated with OpenAI to integrate generative AI capabilities into its enterprise automation platform. The partnership aims to simplify the automation and integration development process by incorporating multiple AI models and future releases from OpenAI into Workato’s platform. Workato Copilots will allow users to build automations and application connectors using plain-English descriptions with the assistance of a Workato-expert coworker generated by an OpenAI model. Another feature, WorkbotGPT, will allow users to interact with enterprise apps and data conversationally through chat apps. Workato’s platform incorporates proprietary Machine Learning (ML) models that provide data mapping, logic and next-step recommendations. The company hopes to further streamline automation and integrations through incorporating OpenAI’s models, according to Gautham Viswanathan, founder and head of products and engineering at Workato. The platform has implemented robust security and governance frameworks to ensure customer asset and data control.
