Next week, Google will be hosting its annual I/O developer conference at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View. Google is likely to announce a range of new products and technologies on the day of the conference’s keynote event, with many exciting new offerings in the world of artificial intelligence and hardware.
The Pixel 7a is one product we can expect for sure. This device will be an ideal showcase for the latest in mobile operating system and first-party silicon, making compromises for price while maintaining popular quality features from the previous generation. We can also expect the Google Pixel Tablet to make its first public debut, and perhaps even a new foldable device from the company, known as the Pixel Fold.
CEO Sundar Pichai will likely be introducing a range of AI projects Google has been working on, with applications including mobile imaging, customer service and a range of other real-world uses. Along with the announcement of the Pixel 7a, Google also announced there’ll be a device due out the following day, likely to aggressively target the world’s number one smartphone market.
It is also expected that Google will launch a product to compete with Apple’s AirTag, as well as introducing a Google Watch 2 and Pixel Buds. Android 14 is likely to be the OS heavily displayed at the event, with many new privacy and security features.
Sundar Pichai is a CEO, computer scientist, and Investor. Pichai has led Google to become the world’s largest search engine, and he also oversees Alphabet Corporation, Google’s parent company. Prior to that, Pichai served as the CEO of Google before taking the helm at Alphabet in December 2019. Pichai also previously worked at Applied Materials and was a management consultant with McKinsey & Company.
