Ask Anywhere is a free Windows-based software that makes it possible to Ask questions through text prompts and receive a response from ChatGPT in any application you open, like Word, Notepad and more. You can access Ask Anywhere through the convenient shortcut keys Ctrl + Alt + ? in any location in Windows. Apart from asking questions, the program also allows users to Write a piece of code in any programming language and Translate sentences into a desired language.

The Ask Anywhere software has a configurable backend, from which you can select either of the three options—Open AI API key, an Open AI Proxy server and an API key for any other AI cloud service. To get started with Ask Anywhere, you just have to download the most recent version of the program, unzip its contents to a specified folder and launch it from the AskAnywhere.exe file. After launching it for the first time, you will be immediately taken to the settings box where you can specify your desired Open AI API key.

When you want the response from ChatGPT, all you have to do is press the shortcut keys and a simple input bar of Ask Anywhere will appear on the screen. To get general information on any topic, just type your query in the input bar and press ‘Enter’. For translating a sentence into another language, type /fy followed by a space and enter the required words or sentence. Similarly, you can use /code followed by a space and the programming language to write a piece of code that you need.

With Ask Anywhere, you no longer have to worry about navigating to the ChatGPT website or using some Google Chrome Extension to get a response.
