US Consulate Explores Collaboration with OurPass to Drive Nigerian Economic Growth
The United States Consulate General in Nigeria, represented by Consul General Will Stevens, recently visited OurPass, a prominent business banking platform in the country. The visit, which occurred on September 22, 2023, aimed to explore potential collaborations and partnerships between the United States Consulate and OurPass to foster economic growth and support businesses in Nigeria.
During the visit, Consul General Stevens was warmly received by Samuel Chukwunonso Eze, the Founder and CEO of OurPass. Consul General Stevens highlighted the Consulate’s commitment to supporting startups through an upcoming affiliate membership program of the American Business Council, which would provide access to major companies within the ecosystem. He also mentioned the Department of Commerce’s readiness to co-develop programs that benefit U.S. businesses operating in Nigeria.
