Union Success for YouTube Music Contractors: Historic Election Leads to Google Negotiations

YouTube Music contractors have achieved a historic victory, as they have won their union election. This implies that Google might have to negotiate with a labor group for the first time. Forty-one out of forty-nine eligible workers who submitted ballots voted “yes” to union representation and will include the Alphabet Workers Union.
