UK’s AI Standards Hub Boosts Global Standing in AI Standards, Oxford Report Finds
In a recent report by Oxford Information Labs, it has been identified that the UK’s AI Standards Hub is significantly enhancing the country’s global standing in AI standards. The independent report highlights the pivotal role of the AI Standards Hub in solidifying the UK’s position as a top player in the development of AI-related standards worldwide.
Launched in October 2022, the AI Standards Hub is the first of its kind globally and aims to support organizations in participating and informing international standardization efforts. AI standards play a crucial role in ensuring the trustworthiness, security, and ethical use of artificial intelligence, while also promoting creativity, compatibility, and international collaboration.
The report by Oxford Information Labs reveals that since its establishment, the UK’s AI Standards Hub has effectively boosted the country’s real-world impact on the AI standardization landscape.
