The Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications Office in the UAE has launched a competition to develop educational tools for teachers using ChatGPT, a computer software tool powered by AI that allows users to have natural conversations with a chatbot. The competition is being held in collaboration with the Digital School, one of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI). Participants will be judged on the quality of outputs, passing the programming skills assessment test at CodersHQ, and the validity of the web operation used, with a focus on developing an effective tool using generative AI techniques to facilitate lessons and address topics such as the carbon cycle, decomposition, and the life cycle of frogs. The competition features three levels, with the winner receiving a prize of AED100,000 ($27,227 USD).
