Transforming Workloads for Azure Government with Azure OpenAI Service

Microsoft has launched the Azure OpenAI Service, which offers generative AI capabilities to government agencies in the US. The technology enables government agencies to securely access large language models from Azure Government, where it can be adapted to different tasks, such as content generation, summarisation, semantic search, and natural language-to-code translation. Government customers can access pre-trained GPT models to deploy AI-enabled applications quickly and with minimal effort. All data queries submitted to the Azure OpenAI model are encrypted and do not remain in the commercial environment. Eligible customers can apply to modify the Azure OpenAI content management features to ensure no logging data exists in Azure commercial.
