Telenor Unveils AI Push, Maintains 2024 Outlook

Norwegian telecoms company Telenor has confirmed its 2024 outlook, with first-quarter earnings meeting expectations. Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) reached 8.5 billion crowns, up from 8.1 billion the previous year as predicted by analysts.

Telenor is focusing on the application of artificial intelligence in its operations in the Nordic region, with CEO Sigve Brekke stating, Everything that can be improved with AI will be improved with AI.

The Telenor group, with 209 million subscribers in the Nordic countries and Asia, continues to adapt and innovate in the competitive telecom industry.
