The Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) in Abu Dhabi, UAE has announced their “Name Ideas” Initiative. This initiative allows users to quickly and easily find a UAE (.ae) domain name suitable for their website. It is the first of its kind where simply by inputting a detailed description of their intended commercial activity, the user can select multiple available names that meet the suitability and availability criteria.
Moreover, the service also enables easy registration of the domain name through selection of a licensed domain registrar and proceeding to the registration page. This Initiative is supported by the ChatGPT technology which is often used in AI algorithms.
The Chairman of TDRA’s Board of Directors, Talal Humaid Belhoul commented on the Initiative, saying that TDRA is actively pursuing the fourth industrial revolution with enthusiasm and it is in alignment with UAE’s wise leadership’s vision of developing advanced services. He added that the “Name Ideas” Initiative responds to the need of entrepreneurs, owners of innovative businesses and investors, to have local domain names for their respective activities.
Since the UAE economy is strong and has high confidence from the business world, many companies have been showing interest in having a .ae domain. Usually, owners of SMEs face a pressing need for a satisfactory domain name for their business activity. This Initiative offers them a handy solution by obtaining a suitable name based on the AI algorithms and analysis.
