Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has taken the top spot in the ‘2023 Top Companies India’ list published by LinkedIn – a list that highlights the best places to work and grow your career. It is followed in the list by Amazon (second) and Morgan Stanley (third). The data regarding this list showed that the list had more of an array of companies this year rather than the tech companies that had mainly dominated the earlier lists.
A major portion of the list comprised of companies from the financial services/ banking/ fintech sector. This includes Macquarie Group at fifth, HDFC Bank at eleventh, Mastercard at twelfth, and Yubi at fourteenth.
The data obtained by LinkedIn also highlighted the list of hot skills for the tech sector – AI, Robotics, Electronics, Software Testing, etc. That being said, it is also quite noticeable that there is a rising demand for industrial design and game development.
Moreover, the same data made it clear that the major job functions these top companies are investing in entails engineering, consulting, product management, business development, sales, customer success, design, finance and operations.
Bengaluru emerged as the topmost favourite location for these top companies to locate themselves and find talented individuals to hire, second and third being Mumbai and Hyderabad respectively.
Notably, TCS is an Indian multinational computer and IT service provider that has bagged several awards and accolades over the years. It is one of India’s big private sector firms founded back in 1968 and has completed over 600 successful projects since then.
