Chinese Police Successfully Handles Case of ChatGPT Generating Fake News

Recently, the Pingliang Public Security Bureau's Network Security Brigade uncovered the first case of using ChatGPT software to fabricate false news. A routine online patrol discovered an article claiming 9 deaths due to a train collision with workers in Gansu. The police found the suspect, Mr. Hong, used WeChat to purchase many Baijiahao accounts to fabricate and spread fake news. He is being legally charged for his actions and is facing criminal coercion. The case serves as a reminder to be careful of any false news spread online.
