Cranium is a recently-spun software startup born out of KPMG's venture studio, aiming to tackle AI security and compliance issues. Funded by KPMG and SYN Ventures, Cranium maps existing pipelines, validates security and monitors external threats. Customers gain visibility into AI systems, and make decisions on secure AI pipelines. Other startups attempt the same, but Cranium is currently behind in terms of customers and revenues. Cranium is beginning to develop a telemetry repository to detect risks among its customer base.
