Poll Shows Teens Use and Know About ChatGPT More than Parents

Teenagers are more likely to use the popular generative AI chatbot tool, ChatGPT, than their parents according to a poll released Wednesday. 58% of teenagers have used ChatGPT, compared to just 30% of parents, and ChatGPT is also more popular in school, with 50% of students using it for assignments without permission of teachers or parents. Despite potential risks, 85% students and 81% parents still view it positively. With OpenAI's advancements, AI is becoming increasingly accessible to users.
