. Elon Musk, tech-industry icon, is preparing a venture to challenge OpenAI with a new Artificial Intelligence project. Sources close to the project told Financial Times Musk has already recruited a team of AI researchers & engineers and purchased Nvidia's GPUs. Investor reactions remain positive with the formation of Musk's latest technological venture.

OpenAI, the organization behind ChatGPT chatbot, announced that they will not pursue the development of GPT-5 due to safety reasons. Elon Musk, Andrew Yang and AI researchers have jointly requested for a 6 month moratorium on AI models more powerful than GPT-4. Despite criticism from members of the AI community, the Pentagon has rejected this request. OpenAI is examining the issue with technical nuance. They are working on projects related to GPT-4 to protect humanity from the potential risks of AI development.

OpenAI, founded and chaired by Elon Musk, offers cash rewards from $200 to $20,000 for vulnerabilities and bugs disclosed in its AI products. This is done in partnership with Bugcrowd, a global crowdsourcing cybersecurity platform. Deliberate jailbreaking, inaccurate answers, Model Hallucinations and issues related to the responses will be excluded from the visibility.
