Samsung Restricts ChatGPT, Google Bard, and Bing

Following an internal data leak in April of 2023, Samsung, a technology giant, imposed a temporary ban on generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Google Bard, and Bing. Potential malicious actors could access confidential information, so Samsung is now taking steps to create its own AI technology to ensure safety. Cyber security experts at Deep Instinct point to human error in the misuse of the technology, combined with the access to large datasets of sensitive data, as the root of this data breach. Samsung has yet to create its own AI technology and must enforce new security policies & "Acceptable Use Policy" to protect its systems.

It has rights to resell the AI-powered ChatGPT, now offering a secure and private cloud server version to put customer worries like data leakage to rest. Despite a hefty price tag 10 times that of the regular version, the new ChatGPT highlights Microsoft's commitment to safe automated processes.
