Google's new Passkey technology enables secure and convenient access to its Workspace and Cloud accounts without the need for a password. By using two cryptographic keys, passkeys offer a more robust authentication system than traditional password-based authentication. With phishing attacks on the rise, Google's AI-based solutions and board membership in the FIDO alliance ensures maximum credential security. Passkeys are twice as fast as passwords and reduce errors by four times, making them an ideal choice for business customers. Rollout to Google Workspace users is set to begin in the coming weeks.
