The AI tool gained attention last year for its ability to generate essays, poems, and conversations with brief prompts, but its creators warn of potential misuse. Frederiksen’s speechwriters have yet to comment on the AI writing quality.

OpenAI, an AI chatbot provider, is in hot water for paying its US contract workers a meager wage for vital data labeling tasks. Despite the immense importance of these jobs for the AI industry, workers are not receiving due compensation. Alexej Savreux, a laborer from Kansas City, highlights this injustice. On top of that, the company was previously outsourcing its moderation tasks to African contractors for a shockingly low pay. The need for proper pay for AI laborers has to be taken seriously.
