Mercedes-Benz expands the use of AI and adds OpenAI's chatbot known as ChatGPT to its vehicles' voice assistant, Hey Mercedes, making it even more intuitive. Customers can join the beta programme using the Mercedes me app or voice command.

Mercedes-Benz customers can soon enjoy more advanced voice control features with the integration of OpenAI's ChatGPT within its MBUX Voice Assistant. Eligible customers can participate in the US-exclusive beta program for three months. Mercedes also guarantees customer data protection and recently achieved Level 3 certification for its Drive Pilot system.
