Over half of IT, finance, and business service employees are worried about AI platforms taking over aspects of their jobs, according to a survey by professional training company, STL. Customer service, coding, and writing tasks were all identified as the roles most likely to be replaced by AI, leading almost a third of respondents to express uncertainty about the skills they would need to remain relevant. Despite this, the majority of those polled believed that AI could not fully replace the human touch in the workplace.
